We thank you all for your generosity! It was a week and a half into blogging when we added the ChipIn meter, so we actually have more than the blog shows. To date, we have raised $2200 for Lila. We couldn't have done it without your support. (I have cried a lot in the past two weeks...you all have been amazing!)
Tax deductible, you may be wondering?...why,yes it is! Matt's Uncle has been so gracious to offer us the ability to accept all donations for Lila using the non-profit for which he sits on the board. Bay Street Helping Hands is the name of the non-profit (www.baystreethelpinghands.org), and all of your donations will funnel through them from here on out. This allows everyone to be able to write off their donations and possibly get your companies involved with corporate match programs!
If you donate through the blog, this will just be automatic. If you have already donated, you will be receiving a letter in the mail stating that you have donated, the amount of your donation and the 501c3 designation. If you choose to send a check, please make it out to Bay Street Helping Hands, and write c/o Lila Barber in the memo line. Then send it to:
